Utrecht Marathon
Since 2015, the Utrecht Marathon has been the annual sporting experience, with its start and finish at the Utrecht Science Park. Each year, the event grows in popularity, and on 18 May 2025, the city of Utrecht was entirely dedicated to the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon. This edition was extra special: for the first time, the marathon distance could be completed in a single loop, following a challenging and scenic route through Utrecht and its surroundings. With a record number of 18,500 participants, it was a large-scale and unforgettable sports event.

The Utrecht Marathon is made possible with the support of Utrecht Science Park as a supporting partner. Together with Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, UMC Utrecht, and Sportcentrum Olympos, Utrecht Science Park contributes to the event’s organization. These partners also host a community event for all Utrecht Science Park participants.
