Innovation Lab

The Innovation Lab Life Sciences and Chemistry is a good place for bio-tech startups that need a long-term partner to develop their product. The lab, which is operated by HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, provides access to a good research infrastructure, to students and to researchers for the purpose of co-creation. There is a lot of expertise and experience in the area of chemical analysis and synthesis, biochemistry and molecular biological analyses, tissue culture techniques and immunochemical techniques. In addition, the lab has good facilities and the latest equipment for experiments, methods research and pilots.

‘The InnovationLab was set up based on the idea that the university has all the necessary knowledge, equipment, space and students to conduct relevant research. We pair those resources with start-up companies that do not have access to them yet. That means we are connecting students directly to the field and giving start-up companies the opportunity to do valuable research.’
