Roadworks Universiteitsweg (phase 2) from 24 to 26 April
In the weekend from Friday 24 April to Sunday 26 April, the second phase of the works on Universiteitsweg will be carried out. This phase involves replacing the asphalt surface layers on the southern section of the road, between Leuvenlaan and the tram tracks.
During the works, accessibility to UMC Utrecht will be adjusted. The regular access route will be hindered, and the main entrance will only be accessible via the parking garage during that weekend. On Friday 24 April, an alternative route will be prepared during the day.
The works are scheduled over the weekend to limit disruption. For most users, the impact is expected to be limited.
In order to carry out the works near the railway, a permit has been prepared in collaboration with the contractor and the province. Approval is expected prior to the start of the works.
Te schedule is subject to weather conditions. In case of heavy rain, the asphalt works may be postponed to a later date.
