Registration for Utrecht Science Week 2026 is now open: the knowledge festival at Utrecht Science Park

From Friday 25 September to Sunday 4 October, the sixth edition of Utrecht Science Week will take place. Utrecht Science Park will open its doors to everyone interested in (applied) science and innovation in the fields of life sciences, health, and sustainability.
The first programme elements have now been announced and registration is open. Many more events and activities will be added to the programme in the coming weeks.
Utrecht Science Week has grown into a leading annual event in Utrecht, showcasing innovation, research, and collaboration at the largest science park in the Netherlands.
The programme features more than 50 speakers and 30 events across over 25 locations at Utrecht Science Park. Visitors can take part in a diverse range of activities, including lectures, panel discussions, knowledge fairs, and guided tours for professionals and students.
Contributing partners include Utrecht University, HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, UMC Utrecht, UtrechtInc., the Princess Máxima Center, Wilhelmina Children’s Hospital, Danone Nutricia, Bilthoven Biologicals, and Utrecht Life Sciences.
Some of the programme elements already open for registration include:
- The opening of Utrecht Science Week, featuring a keynote by Juliette Legler, Professor of Toxicology. Her research focuses on the effects of environmental chemicals on hormones, health, and development.
- A symposium on the immune system: How can we use our immune system to protect us without turning it against ourselves?
- The lecture “The Future of Mobility & Health: From Biology to Society.”
- A public lecture on vaccination hosted by Bilthoven Biologicals, including a guided tour.
