Utrecht Science Park start-up Beephonix grows with the help of student workers

Utrecht Science Park start-up Beephonix is growing with support from student workers via Topselect, using its patented microphone technology for hearing implants and drone detection.
Beephonix is a start-up based in Utrecht at the Utrecht Science Park. Inspired by the moving ears of bees, they have developed a patented microphone technology to improve hearing implants. It has also proven highly effective for detecting drones, a use for which there is currently strong demand. As a result, Beephonix is growing and, together with Topselect, the internal staffing agency of Utrecht University, is scaling up. Topselect manages the flexible workforce of over 1,000 employees within the university, focusing on student jobs and positions for recent graduates.
In addition to collaborating with Utrecht University, Topselect works with various start-ups and external organizations to help as many students and young professionals as possible find suitable (part-time) jobs. The student pool includes more than 2,400 students and recent graduates from all fields. This is a great example of how collaboration between Utrecht Science Park partners creates a win-win situation.
