Lecture at Grand Café The Living

Date:
That's Living Talks - lezing

That’s Living Talk: a lecture on “learning, a lifelong process.”
How genes and environmental factors combine to shape your learning ability.

Learning is more than just something that happens in your head. Genes, nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, emotions, motivation, and the environment in which you live and learn: all these factors together contribute to your learning capacity—from before birth to old age.

In this “That’s Living Talk,” Prof. Dr. Renate de Groot, Professor of the Biopsychology of Learning, shows how the learning process can be compared to building a dream house: it’s an interaction between architect and contractor, or between genes and environment. Learning and development is therefore a dynamic construction process where you can take control.

Whether you’re studying, working, or simply curious about how to get the most out of yourself, this lecture offers insights you can apply immediately.
