New Business Development Manager
Utrecht Science Park is a breeding ground for new technology aimed at helping people get healthy and remain healthy for as long as possible. The many leading researchers from both the public and private sector share a passion for solving major social problems.
That inspires me on a daily basis, and makes my job an enjoyable experience. After having completed my studies and doctoral research in the pharmaceutical sciences and subsequently gained thirteen years of experience in the international business sector, I came to work as new business development manager at Utrecht Science Park in 2012. I develop new initiatives aimed at making the park more appealing to businesses from a research perspective. For example, I work to provide access to our unique research infrastructure, set up innovation labs, develop laboratory buildings and connect the various parties in the value chain. I do so in close collaboration with our partner organisations, such as Utrecht Life Sciences.
