Utrecht

Utrecht is a lively university city with unique dynamics. It’s small enough to explore the historic city centre on foot yet large enough to enjoy the numerous national and international festivals for days, the extensive shopping area with its wide range of cafés and restaurants, the canals with their special docks, the Zocherpark around the Singel (the main canal) and the many surprising museums. There’s much to discover in Utrecht. Roman churches, docks dating back to the Middle Ages, and of course the beautiful gothic dome tower: the highest church tower in the Netherlands and the symbol of Utrecht.
